2483. To ask the Minister for Health the steps she will take to address the shortfall of 175 regional inpatient neurorehabilitation beds across the country, highlighted in the Inpatient Rehabilitation Mapping report published by the HSE in September 2024; the steps that will be taken to address the shortage of 34 beds in the HSE south west region as Cork and Kerry continue to lack a dedicated neurorehabilitation unit, this is despite CUH being the second national neuroscience centre in the country, as well as a dedicated major trauma centre; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
