The National Cancer Registry (NCRI) was established in 1991 with a statutory obligation to collect and classify information on all cancer cases that occur in Ireland and has been collecting such data since 1994.
This information will typically only be made available two to three years after the year of incidence, in keeping with international standards. This means that the data in this answer is provided for the most recent 5 years for which the NCRI have reliable data.
The number of invasive breast cancers (ICD10 C50) diagnosed in women 2018-2022 is as follows:
