To ask the Minister for Health if she is aware that the prescribed medication solpadeine is covered on the medical card but dissolvable solpadeine is not and dissolvable solpadeine is the only effective pain management medication for some patients, namely a person (details supplied); the reason this solpadeine product is not included in medical card coverage; if she will consider including it to relieve medication poverty; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
