The Accommodation Recognition Payment (ARP) was introduced to recognise the generosity of people who have opened their homes to provide accommodation to Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs).
I recently made an order to extend the scheme for a further year to March 2026 to mirror the extension of the Temporary Protection Directive. This extension provides certainty to Ukrainian people and their hosts that this measure will remain in place until March 2026.
The Accommodation Recognition Payment (ARP) is linked to the Temporary Protection Directive (TPD). Any consideration of what happens post TPD will be part of the all of government response to the ending of temporary protection. My officials will engage with the deliberations and share lessons learned from the scheme so far.
