1678. To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason commonage framework plans prepared under the last CAP for the townlands of Ballyconneely, Galway, are no longer publicly accessible; and if there is any change in policy on making such plans publicly available. [18710/25]

Under the previous Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine (DAFM) operated the Green, Low-Carbon, Agri-Environment Scheme (GLAS). The scheme provided payments to farmers to help tackle climate change, preserve biodiversity, protect habitats and promote environmentally-friendly farming.
In GLAS, commonages which were above 10 hectares required a single Commonage Plan, known as the Commonage Management Plan (CMP), to be submitted. These plans are no-longer publicly available as they contained personal data of multiple herd owners and there are no plans, for this reason, to make them available again in the future.
