1445. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the estimated full-year yield that would be generated by raising by 0.1% rate of employers PRSI. [20153/25]

The estimated additional yield that would be raised by increasing both the lower and higher employer PRSI rates, currently at 8.9% and 11.15% respectively, by 0.1 percentage points is €119 million.

This estimate does not take into account any possible changes in employer or employee behaviour, arising from changing the rates of the employer PRSI contribution.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
