1353. To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government the basic units ceiling costs for the purchase of social housing provided to each local authority in 2025; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21144/25]

The most recent Basic Unit Costs (BUCs) and Acquisition Cost Guidelines (ACGs) were issued in Q2 2024.

A copy of the BUCs and ACGs have been provided to all local authorities and can be made available to public representatives on request.

To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government if his Department has undertaken analysis of the comparative cost per unit per local authority of the provision of social housing in 2023 and 2024 through the various methods available to housing authorities, including Part V, direct build and turnkey developments.
