I wish to advise the Deputy that my Department currently has no EU Directives awaiting transposition.

The European Media Freedom Act (EMFA) is an EU regulation and directly applicable to Member States. Some elements will require implementation into Irish law through primary legislation, which my Department is currently progressing.
