My Department has regular engagement with the European Commission on the issue of regulating the short-term letting sector. Correspondence between the European Commission and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media from 2020 to April 2025 is set out in tabular form below. It should be noted that communications with the European Commission under the Technical Regulation Information System process are managed by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).
