956. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if she will provide a breakdown, by Department or office, of the percentage of employees who have disclosed a disability for the past ten years, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [20013/25]

Part V of the Disability Act 2005 requires that public bodies promote and support the employment of people with disabilities.
The Comprehensive Employment Strategy for People with Disabilities for 2015 – 2024, was a cross-Government approach to addressing the barriers the employment of disabled people. It also committed the Government to progressively increase the statutory target for the employment of disabled people.
While the assistance of the Public Appointments Service is sought for the majority of recruitments in my department, my department is committed to supporting staff members with disabilities by providing reasonable accommodation where required.
The following table provides the information requested by the Deputy.
