Cineáltas flags were sent to all primary and post-primary schools during Anti-Bullying Week in November 2023.
The purpose of the flag is to acknowledge the good work that schools are already doing and will do to prevent and address bullying and to promote kindness, respect, inclusion, diversity and wellbeing.
Cineáltas flags will also serve as a visible national symbol of our shared commitment to be kind and to work together to prevent and address bullying.
It is unfortunate that this school did not receive their flag.
I am pleased to confirm to the Deputy that officials from my department have been in contact with this school and a flag has been posted out to them.
Where a school has not received their flag, they may email antibullyingprocedures@education.gov.ie to request a flag be sent to them.
