167. To ask the Taoiseach if he will detail whether any surveys have been carried out to estimate the amount of time taken up with administrative tasks where such time could be used more efficiently; and if so, in which areas of the Department has this examination been carried out. [18446/25]

The nature of the work of the Department of the Taoiseach requires it to be a dynamic, agile and responsive organisation. For this reason, the Department regularly reviews its processes, procedures, organisational structure and skills base to ensure that the Department's capacity to deliver government priorities is optimised. Engagement with staff at an organisational, divisional, business unit and individual level is a key part of this process. The number of staff in the Department, and the fact that the vast majority of staff are based in Government Buildings, means that this engagement can be carried via meetings, workshops, information sessions, etc., as opposed to using survey tools.
