The school referred to by the Deputy was approved funding under my Department’s Additional School Accommodation Scheme to provide 7 special education tuition (SET) rooms and to convert the currently shared SET room into a home school liaison room.
I can confirm that this project received my Department's approval to move to Stage 2b (planning) in October 2024, and the Department now awaits a post planning (developed design) report from the school for review.
Once the Stage 2b submission is submitted and reviewed by my Department, the next step for this project is to move to tender and construction stage will follow.
