The Office of Public Works (OPW) is generally responsible for the procurement, purchase, renting and leasing of office and other accommodation required by government departments, including the Department of Transport. The details of those arrangements would be available from the OPW. In addition, the Department has paid annual rent of €2,000 for the Valentia Marine Rescue Sub-Centre since 2016 to date.
