123. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if all primary and post primary schools can access public liability insurance from one insurance company only, nominated by her Department, or whether schools are free to seek out their insurance cover from any company. [18030/25]

I wish to inform the Deputy that schools are not restricted to one particular insurance company with regards to public liability insurance. Schools must work with their school management and school Patron to ensure there is suitable insurance cover in place.
