77. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number of candidates in the European elections 2024 who have been reimbursed electoral expenses to date; the number of candidates whose expenses have yet to be reimbursed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [17816/25]

To date, nine European election 2024 candidates have had Election expenses reimbursed. A further four more reimbursement payments will issue from the Exchequer this week and would usually be received by the four candidates in the following days.
In addition, three further statements which have been approved by the Standards in Public Office Commission are presently being processed for reimbursement. The Commission have informed us that once the remaining statements are approved they will notify the candidate and then a reimbursement will follow from my Department.
