38. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the measures being put in place to provide adequate coach parking facilities in Dublin for the upcoming concert season; if engagement has taken place with stakeholders to prevent congestion, ensure health and safety and to facilitate seamless transport for event attendees; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport, nor do I have a role in the sourcing of a location for coach parking.

In Dublin City, the provision of coach parking is a matter for Dublin City Council (DCC). The National Transport Authority operates one coach park in the Dublin Docklands between 7am and 7pm, and I am advised the operating hours of this facility are restricted by a DCC planning condition.

Therefore your query related to locations for a coach park in Dublin City should be sent to DCC for direct reply.
