387. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if the OPW will carry out works at a Fairy Fort, Cahersiveen, County Kerry (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16824/25]

The Fairy Fort at Leacanabuaile, Cashel, National Monument Number 414 is a stone fort located near Cahirciveen in Co. Kerry. It is in the Guardianship of the State and maintained by the Office of Public Works. Representatives from the Office of Public Works from the Killarney District team have been in touch with the landowner recently in relation to ongoing issues with access. The Office of Public Works undertakes to examine this matter and liaise directly with the landowner in question to reach a mutually acceptable solution.
