I am advised by Revenue that a Local Property Tax (LPT) notice regarding an outstanding LPT liability for 2025, issued the person concerned on 28 March 2025.
While Revenue is obliged to collect all tax and interest liabilities as they fall due, it is acknowledged that there will be instances where customers experience unforeseen difficulties, that may result in their inability to meet their tax obligations on time.
Revenue is committed to working with any customer who experiences such difficulties and facilitates a number of different payment options for customers, including phased payment arrangements, which allow customers to spread their payments over the course of the year. The full range of phased payment options for LPT, is available on Revenue’s website:
www.revenue.ie/en/property/local-property-tax/paying-your-lpt/paying-lpt-phased-payments.aspx.
I am further advised that Revenue will contact the person concerned in the coming days to discuss the various options available to them.
