To ask the Minister for Health for details on ultrasound scans by private services contracted by the HSE, for the purposes of dating start of pregnancy for women considering abortion within the 12-week limit; to summarise total expenditure per year, in tabular form, from 2019 to present; to provide the current cost or range of costs per individual scan; the qualifications are held by staff operating these services; what oversight is in place to ensure quality and safety of the service; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
