Since I was appointed Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media on 23 January 2025, I have met with the Chairperson and the Director General of RTÉ jointly on 29 January 2025. I was accompanied to the meeting by the Secretary General of my Department and my advisers Michael O'Connor and Theresa Newman.

I also met with the Director General and two members of his senior leadership team today, Tuesday 8 April. I was accompanied on this occasion by the Secretary General of my Department, my advisers Michael O'Connor and Theresa Newman, and two other officials from the Department.

I intend to meet with the Chairperson again in the coming days.

My Department engages on an ongoing basis with all bodies under its aegis including RTÉ, as well as with other stakeholders. The table below sets out details of meetings which have taken place at official level with RTÉ in the relevant period.
