To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 988 of 19 March 2025, if he can refer the question asked to the State bodies under his Department's aegis for a direct response to this Deputy given all other Ministers did in response to the same question; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I, and the officials in my Department, am very committed to providing clear and detailed responses to all questions asked.

The previous question of 19 March, asks for information which is not held by my Department and is a matter for the Chief Executive of the relevant body, an independent body with its own administrative structures. Neither I, nor my Department, have a role in such matters, nor do we hold information on behalf of those bodies. As I do not have any function in relation to this matter, I provided the contact details of bodies under the aegis of the Department which is the standard approach to Parliamentary Questions of this nature. Dedicated mail accounts have been set up by these bodies for this specific purpose.

I cannot comment on the arrangements for the provision of information to Oireachtas members between other Departments and bodies under their aegis which may be very varied depending on the nature of the body and governance/reporting structures.
