I propose to take Questions Nos. 116 and 145 together.

The Office of Public Works (OPW) has responsibility on behalf of the State for managing an extensive and diverse portfolio of State properties, including office accommodation for all Government Departments, the property estate for An Garda Síochána and numerous properties for many State Agencies.

Specifically, within the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown local authority area, the OPW holds a total of 8 leases / licences at an annual rental cost of €1.6m approx. These properties are occupied by the National Shared Services Office, An Garda Síochána, the Department of Social Protection and the Probation Service.

The following refurbishment projects are approved to commence in the near future, within the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown local authority area:

- Cabinteely Garda Station – Upgrade of female showers on the first floor.

- Belfield Office Park, Block 5 - Refurbishment of showers and toilets.
