642. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if she will investigate the case of a child (details supplied) with significant additional needs, who has been in the system since the age of three, and has had to have a private assessment of needs given the delay in State provision of AON, but who has now been informed that they will not be seen by the CDNT until February 2027 at which point they will be 11 years of age; if she will acknowledge that early interventions are key for children with special needs, and ensure that this child is given an earlier appointment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
