I propose to take Questions Nos. 105 and 128 together.

My Department has developed a range of funding schemes and interventions which support community groups across the country. These include:

  • LEADER
  • the Community Centre Investment Fund
  • the Community Recognition Fund
  • the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme
  • the Local Enhancement Programme
  • the Community Services Programme
  • CLÁR
  • the Town and Village Renewal Scheme
Programmes such as these are delivering strong levels of investment into communities all across the country. In 2024, my Department allocated over €26.9 million in funding to projects, initiatives and groups across Cork City and County.

Details of the individual funding allocations my Department has provided to both capital projects and to community groups across the country, including all areas of Cork, is available on my Department’s website at gov.ie - Funding allocated by the department
