512. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection whether a person (details supplied) is entitled to back-dated arrears to 2017 after being awarded a contributory State pension; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13631/25]

According to the records of my department, the person concerned has not submitted an application for the contributory State Pension.

An application for the non-contributory State Pension was received on 4 April 2023 and awarded from 7 April 2023. There are no further arrears due in this case.

I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy
