401. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to comment on the Clondalkin children’s disability network team operating in prefabs on the grounds of a school (details supplied); the reason they are not operating from the new primary health care centre on the Boot Road; when they will move to the primary care centre; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.

402. To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to urgently intervene and ensure that a service provider who accepts funding from the HSE fulfils their obligations and contracts (details supplied); if he will accept that this day service is a lifeline for many families, and without its support many families will be left with no option but to seek residential care for their loved ones; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 402 and 433 together.

The Deputy may wish to be aware that my Department does not directly fund any charitable voluntary groups. Under Section 39 of the 2004 Health Act funding is provided by the Health Service Executive. I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to you directly in relation to this matter, as soon as possible.
