The NTMA have provided me with the material below in response to the Deputy's question.

The table below outlines the ISIF’s segregated holdings in quoted global alcohol equities at year end from 2014 to 2023, aligned to the NTMA Annual Reports which can be found on the NTMA website, www.ntma.ie.

These equity holdings are categorised according to the Bloomberg Industry Classification Standard, specifically under Alcoholic Beverages, which encompasses Brewers, Distillers, and Vintners.

Note: In addition to the listed equities in the table, ISIF has also directly invested in two unquoted investments; the first is an equity investment of €15m by ISIF in West Cork Distillers (2019) and the second is a commitment of €25m by ISIF to the Irish Whiskey Growth Fund (2018 and 2020). Details of both investments can be found in the 2023 NTMA Annual Report: www.ntma.ie/uploads/publication-articles/NTMA-Annual-Report-and-Financial-Statements-2023.pdf

Awaiting additional information from Department.
