I can advise the Deputy that my Department does not have any record of contracts awarded by it to Codec.
The bodies under the Aegis of my Department that have engaged Codec’s services have advised as follows:
The Central Bank of Ireland has contracted with Codec in a limited way during this time period (2020 – 2025 to date). The Bank is satisfied with the contribution made by Codec and has not experienced any delays or failed projects related to this engagement.
The Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman availed of Codec’s services in 2020 and did not experience issues, cost overruns or delays. This was for training and consultancy for the use of Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) has not experienced cost overruns, encountered delays or flawed product/ failed or abandoned projects with Codec. It should be noted the NTMA provides certain business and support services and systems to Home Building Finance Ireland, Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland and the National Asset Management Agency. Information and communications technology (ICT) services are one such service provided to these bodies.
