HIQA submitted an interim briefing to my Department on 28 February on their review of urgent and emergency healthcare services in the HSE Mid-West region, in line with the terms of reference for this review.

I have received this briefing and I am reviewing it with officials. The interim briefing provides a progress update on the various workstreams of the ongoing work programme.

I have no objection to the interim briefing being published in the normal way.
