1590. To ask the Minister for Health if the online sale of nicotine products in Ireland is monitored by the State; and her views on the way minors are safeguarded to prevent them from purchasing such products. [11103/25]

It is the responsibility of online retailers to ensure that their sales comply with the requirements of the Public Health (Tobacco Products and Nicotine Inhaling Products) Act 2023, which prohibits the sale of nicotine inhaling products to persons under the age of 18. This law applies equally to online sales as to physical sales.
Enforcement of this law is carried out by the National Environmental Health Service of the HSE.
