The Public Appointment Service (PAS) are the centralised provider of recruitment and selection services across the Civil and Public Service. The vetting process for staff entering the Department of Health is carried out by them.

I have asked the HSE to reply directly to the Deputy whether staff in their agency are fully vetted before they are employed.

Details for other bodies under the aegis of my Department are operational matters for the bodies concerned and the Deputy should contact the relevant Director/CEO/Registrar directly.
