Capital investment plays a critical role in enabling and enhancing health service provision, and to drive the reforms as set out in Sláintecare.
The HSE Capital Plan is an annual document that sets out the planned Health infrastructure investment within a given year. The number and cost of projects competing for inclusion in the annual Capital Plan invariably exceeds the funding available. It is necessary for the HSE to conduct a prioritisation exercise to determine which capital projects can be funded in any given year.
The HSE Capital Plan 2025 will provide details of capital investment in public healthcare facilities across the country for 2025.
The HSE Capital Plan 2025 is expected to be published in the coming weeks, in line with established procedures.
