1255. To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the status of ACRES scheme payments for a person (details supplied); when the balance of payment due for 2023 is expected; and the timeline for payment for 2024. [10895/25]

The person named submitted an application under the ACRES General stream and was approved into Tranche 1 of the scheme, with a commencement date of 1st January 2023. An interim payment of €4,000 issued to the herd owner in February 2024 in respect of their participation in the Scheme.
To date this case had not passed the 2023 balance payment validations due to an issue with the Geese and Swan claim. The issue has now been resolved and a solution is being put in place. Once the payment claim for 2023 is finalised, the case will then progress to validation checks for the 2024 advance payment.
Further pay runs will continue to issue on a regular basis as cases pass all required validation checks. I can assure you that everything is being done to pay, as soon as possible, all ACRES participants who clear pre-payment checks.

The person named submitted an application under the ACRES General stream and was approved into Tranche 1 of the scheme, with a commencement date of 1st January 2023. Payments in respect of scheme year 2023 have been finalised for this case.
The 2024 advance payment has not yet been made due to an issue with the claim for Rotational Actions on the contract. My Department is working to progress this issue as a matter of urgency. As is the case with all EU co-funded schemes, all ACRES applications must pass regulatory controls and validations before payment can issue.
My Department continues to work to expedite payments. Further pay runs, to participants in both Tranches, will continue to issue on a regular basis as cases pass all required validation checks.
