1124. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if a process is in place for a naturalised citizen to amend their date of birth on official State identification documents in cases where an administrative error or incorrect information was recorded upon their entry into the country; and given that such discrepancies can cause complications when travelling, the steps that can be taken to rectify this issue and ensure that official records reflect the correct date of birth. The person concerned will need to contact the Citizenship Division of my Department using the Digital Contact Centre (DCC) to request their personal details be amended.
The person should fully outline their circumstances and provide the necessary supporting documentation. This should include a copy of their naturalisation certificate.
The person concerned can register for, or log in to their existing account, at: portal.irishimmigration.ie/en/
