Working Family Payment (WFP) is a weekly in-work support which provides an income top-up for employees on low earnings with children. To qualify for Working Family Payment, the customer must have at least one qualified child who normally resides with them and be working a minimum of 38 hours per fortnight in ongoing insurable employment.
An application for WFP was received from the person concerned on 14 January 2025.
The person concerned has been awarded WFP with effect from 16 January 2025 to 14 January 2026. The first weekly payment and all arrears issued to their selected financial account on 13 March 2025.
The person concerned has been notified of the decision.
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy
