I am glad to inform the Deputy that the teacher referred to has been placed on the correct payscale with effect from 10th October 2024 . Any arrears due are scheduled to issue to the teacher on 27th March 2025.

The payment of newly qualified teachers at the qualified rate for the sector they are teaching in depends on notification being received by the payroll section. Notification in this case was received on 10th February 2025 and was duly processed on 7th March 2025 and will be issued as outlined above. The salary certificate requested has also been issued at the updated rate.
