322. To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality if his attention has been brought to reports of threats and intimidation of legal practitioners and Courts Service staff from far-right activists (details supplied); his plans to address serious security concerns arising from such threats; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can assure that any threats of the nature described by the Deputy are treated as serious and appropriate action is taken by the Courts Service, including reporting any such incidents to An Garda Síochána for the purposes of investigation and criminal prosecution where appropriate.

As specific security safeguards in relation to staff, legal practitioners and witnesses attending Court are an operational security matter for the Courts Service, I have referred the Deputy's question to the Courts Service for direct reply on the issues raised.
