257. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills the progress of the building project for a school (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10247/25]

The project referred to by the Deputy is devolved for delivery to Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB). The project brief includes the provision of a new extension and refurbishment of an existing building.

The project is currently at Stage 2b of the architectural process, which allows for detailed design/planning, obtaining the necessary statutory permissions and the preparation of tender documents.Once this process is complete, it will progress to Tender Stage and construction in due course. WWETB will be engaging directly with the school authority to keep it informed of progress.
