449. To ask the Minister for Health the reason appellants involved in the primary disability medical certificate appeals process have to wait up to 12 months to receive an appointment for an interview; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [10479/25]

This is not a matter for Department of Health. This matter is for the Department of Finance, as they have remit over the functions of the Disabled Drivers Medical Board of Appeal, and thus queries related to the appeals process.

To ask the Minister for Health the number of appellants in County Kerry waiting to be called for an appointment for their interview in respect of their primary disability medical certificate appeal; how this compares to the waiting lists for each of the other counties/regions; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
