I propose to take Questions Nos. 413 and 415 together.
In relation to tourism policy generally, work is underway to examine how the Tourism Policy Framework 2025 - 2030 as published last November best aligns with the tourism-related commitments in the new Programme for Government.My colleague Mr. Peter Burke TD, the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, will have formal responsibility for Tourism once the function has been transferred to him by Government Order in the coming weeks and he will oversee that alignment process. The Government will work to ensure that the tourism sector continues to play its part in our ongoing economic growth.Fáilte Ireland, as the National Tourism Development Authority, continues to focus on the development and enhancement of the food & beverage experience for the wider domestic and international visitor audience. As such, food and beverage is incorporated into Fáilte Ireland’s overall Corporate Strategy and its Regional Tourism Development Strategies. The Food and Beverage experience will continue to be a key component of Fáilte Ireland’s destination development efforts executed through its Destination and Experience Development Plans.
