363. To ask the Minister for Education and Skills if she will address a matter (details supplied) regarding an increment payment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9094/25]

The position is that the statement of service which was required in order to process the increment payment was received in NTS Payroll on the 10th February 2025.

On examining the statement of service it was discovered that it did not explicitly state that the previous employment in at ETB, had been in relation to work as an SNA. This meant that staff working in the NTS Payroll of my Department had to contact, request and receive the necessary confirmation along with additional details regarding the salary that had been paid from the relevant ETB before proceeding.

The position has now been clarified. The increment payment has been processed and should be received, along with any arrears that are due, in the next pay issue on 13th March 2025.
