There is a small swimming pool and small gym in the basement of Farmleigh House. These facilities are for the exclusive use of visiting dignitaries and their staff who are staying in Farmleigh House as part of an official State visit.

The swimming pool is serviced monthly and the total expenditure on maintenance in 2024 was €6,941.49.

It is not possible to extrapolate the specific costs of heating the pool from the overall energy and heating costs at Farmleigh House and estate.
