As the Deputy will be aware, the Emergency Aeromedical Support (EAS) service is delivered collaboratively by the National Ambulance Service (NAS) and the Irish Air Corps.

The service normally operates out of Custume Barracks in Athlone, but it is temporarily operating out of Baldonnel, Co Dublin pending the completion of a new aircraft Hangar installation at Custume Barracks.

Whilst I understand that works on the new hangar are nearing completion, specific questions pertaining to the location of the EAS service aircraft and the timeline for the return of the service to Athlone would be a matter for my colleague the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence to address in the first instance.
