A transboundary EIA notification was received by my Department on Thursday 30 January 2025 from the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) in Northern Ireland. This notification concerns a number of development applications related to the proposed Dalradian Gold Mine Project, at Greencastle, Co Tyrone.

My Department accepted the invitation from DfI to engage in transboundary consultation in relation this proposed development. Public consultation forms part of this process. The public consultation period opened on 26 February 2025. The deadline for the receipt of written submissions or observations under this transboundary consultation process is close of business on 23 April 2025.

All of the relevant details in relation to how to participate in the consultation process, including where to review documentation related to the applications, and how to make submissions is available on both my Department's website (at ) and on the website of Donegal County Council (at ).
