To ask the Minister for Health for an update on the outsourcing of MRI services; when the service commenced; the weekly number of scans; if there have been any changes to the contract and/or operations since commencement; when the service will cease; and if she will make a statement on the matter. To ask the Minister for Health if she will provide a detailed inventory of medical radiological equipment at UHL, such as CT scanners, x-ray machines, MRI scanners, DXA scanners, and ultrasound machines, by category, year of installation, and manufacturer’s recommended useful life; if each item is new or replacement machine; the number of breakdowns since January 2024, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
