Targeted Youth Funding Scheme – A single youth funding scheme that targeted disadvantaged young people with evidence informed interventions and services that will secure good outcomes. The Targeted Youth Funding Scheming was created following the collapse of the previous funding streams in 2019 (Special Projects for Youth, Young People’s Facilities and Services Fund 1 &2 and the Local Drug Task Force projects). The Targeted Youth Funding Scheme ceased over the course of 2020 as the new youth funding scheme UBU Your Place Your Space became operational.

Revised Youth Funding Scheme - Established as part of the value for money process and funding provided for 16 new revised youth funding scheme projects and for the augmentation of a further 7 projects since 2016. These projects received continued funding throughout 2020. These RYFS projects facilitated the continued provision of funding to the youth service sector while also operating as sample programmes for new scheme development.
