117. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of applicants awaiting payment in counties Cavan and Monaghan under the increased cost of business and power up grant schemes; when these outstanding payments will issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 116 and 117 together.

In total, the Increased Cost of Business (ICOB) and Power Up grant schemes paid out over €400 million in 2024.

There are no further payments to be made to businesses in Cavan or Monaghan, all approved eligible businesses have been paid the ICOB and Power Up grants.

While both ICOB and Power Up are now closed, there may be a small number of businesses in some Local Authorities that have made submissions but have yet to submit outstanding documentation that would enable final payment of the Power Up grant and Local Authorities are currently engaging with these businesses.
