Given the significance of property to the winning of FDI investments into regional locations, and owing to ongoing market challenges, IDA’s continued positive intervention in terms of delivering and maintaining a portfolio of advanced property solutions remains paramount. In that regard, a ready supply of available zoned land for sale and development together with appropriate building stock is vital to IDA fulfilling its remit and its continued success in attracting FDI to Ireland.
In this regard, the IDA maintains its focus on land banks to future proof the ability of the property portfolio to support its project pipeline, most notably large-scale capital-intensive projects which can have significant regional and national economic impacts. The success of this approach is clearly demonstrated by investment wins over the last 5 years. Therefore, to build on this positive momentum and ensure the IDA can compete for investments of scale across all activities and sectors, it is imperative that the Agency be agile in developing and maintaining a property portfolio to support future investments across all regions as they arise and this approach is reflected in the new IDA Strategy for 2025-2029.
The tables below demonstrate in tabular form the lands and buildings that are currently available as and from January 2025 for marketing to IDA and Enterprise Ireland (EI) clients, new and existing.
