A copy of the brief provided to me on my recent appointment as Minister for Finance and to the Minister of State at the Department of Finance is available on my Department’s website at: www.gov.ie/en/organisation-information/1413f6-ministerial-brief/
On 29 January 2025, the Government, upon nomination of An Taoiseach, formally appointed Ministers of State and assigned their responsibilities. Robert Troy TD was appointed as Minister of State at the Department of Finance with special responsibility for Financial Services, Credit Unions and Insurance. I look forward to working closely with Minister of State Troy to progress the remit of the Department.
Arrangements are yet to be finalised and this process is expected to be completed soon.
